Center Console Swap

Hey everybody, so I am looking at doing this swap for my 2015 Silverado. My question is when I am swapping the console out, do I have to use a 2015 center console or can I update to the 2018 console or does it even make a difference? I just figured if I went with the 2018 console I assume I would be able to add the wireless charging into my truck, or would it not work? Also does anyone have any part numbers for the entire console?

To my knowledge, different years can have various layouts for the electrical. I think it's possible, but some knowledge and modding (for the wiring) will be needed.

You can use a 18 console a few differences one being able to remove the cup holders on the 14 to 16,s. Also the 18s come with a 2 port USB with in and out so hooking everything up is a little easier. Reach out to Pgamboa for a harness he can hook you up on the wiring side of things. It’s a great Mod changes the whole look of the interior.
