Still haven't had a chance to install. Hopefully soon, I'm tired of looking at the boxes just sitting in my apartment.

If you’re in Texas you can swing by with the big bottle of Gentleman Jack and we’ll do your shocks in a few hours in my driveway. Lol

I would take you up on that if you were closer!   i'll get them on one day, hopefully work will slow down enough to get some time off

Maybe I'm stupid and/or overthinking this, but my DSCs don't have "clicks" on the low speed gold knob.  They just turn smoothly each direction.  Also, is more damping or less damping conducive to a softer ride?  I had the blue high speed knobs all the way at lowest setting and felt they rode stiffer than I'd like.  I just turned them up to 6 clicks but won't be able to test drive until tomorrow to see what happened.

They don’t have that great of positive feed back but there are actual stages in there. I can feel the break over point of each stay. It’s like feeling the take up on a trigger is how I would relate it.

If anyone was curious got em installed this past weekend. Install was fairly simple thanks to Madcow for the tips. Height measurements come out at 39.5 (Driver) and 40in (Passenger) from ground to center of front fender with no adjustments being made. I was expecting more lift out of these but there does seem to be a good amount of compression on the coils already I am unsure if I would take it any further. The ride quality is great especially over the harsher stuff like railroad tracks.

Looking forward to a long term review. Glad I was able to help. They look good. What’s the measurement from center hub to the fender?

What lbs springs are you running?

The measurements are 24 and 24.5in from fender to center hub, the driver side being lower. I'm not sure what the poundage on the spring was I should have taken a picture before I installed it. I'm not sure what the 2.5's come stock with.

Look on the spring there should be a big part number on it.

Wondering what the results would be if I installed longer eyelets on the coilovers and turned down the preload on the shock. I would in theory retain the same amount of lift out of the setup and would give the ride a softer feel due to less compression on the coil? Just looking to soften it up a little.

The preload on your springs doesn't change the ride quality significantly. If you want to soften it up you need different valving.

Longer eyelets only help if you need a longer overall shock length. They will not lift your truck.

Changing the preload will only affect ride height. With vehicle weight on the shocks, the spring will be at the same level of compression regardless.

may seem like a dumb question but after searching through fox i cant seem to find the answer.   if i turn the blue adjuster to the left does that firm or soften the ride, same with the gold?

+ is firmer - is softer
