You’ll get a better ride and a lot more bottom-out resistance with the 2.5’s [emoji106]

Just ordered new Fox 2.5’s front coilovers and 2.0’s rear as well as new Fabtech upper control arms. Now, I have to wait 4-6 weeks for arrival, haha, nuts!

Figure I would give an update. I went out to Big Bend Ranch State Park. I really put the shocks to the test out there high speed whoops, washboard roads, light rock crawling and the shocks and control arms performed flawlessly. With about 700 lbs in the bed they road great and soaked up what I through at them.

Hey Tx , any clearance issues with that front set up ? Particularly between the uca and limit stop ?

I never went that route. Figured I’m already leveled which had a horrible ride even with 5100’s all the way around and after lots of research I decided to go with a mid travel lift and not just a lift but now I’m an extremely happy owner of a 2018 GMC Sierra Pwemium Package Z71 6.2 with a badass 4.5” CST Lift.

4.5”CST Lift kit with CST front Coilovers and rear piggyback resi’s, running 34” Nitto Ridge Grapplers and some extras. Super happy and excellent ride quality as well as top notch quality craftsmanship second to none.

Sweet !!  Does yours have a limit strap ok n the lower control arm ? Or does the cst side bracket set the limit on the uca ?

A quick measurement between the uca and the stop would be awesome if you get a chance ...

  Who did your install ?

Good question, all I know is I LOVE IT! Bought everything through 4wheelparts with installation, commercial account.

So you’re liking it, mine are not adjustable but rated 650, excellently tuned for off-road and DD performance too. Though I don’t really off-road I did take a large dip at 50mph and just glided over it, super smooth, coilovers are awesome aren’t they! My rears are extended as well with piggybacks, loving them as well but I’ve added an add-a-leaf in addition to the 3” block that came with my CST 4.5” lift. It’s great that you’re happy especially getting out of that crappy stock height too. Good luck and drive safely.

Mine get used hard once a year in BigBend Ranch State Park and every couple months in Ozona TX. They are great and have no regrets with them. I’m looking to put a CST Lift maybe by the end of summer. Then I’ll do the 2.5 in the rears and just put extended eyelets on the fronts.

Any rubbing with the 285/75-17s? I'm running 295/70-17s and had to trim a tad

Now that I finished tweaking the ride height I only rub a little under articulation and turning left. I think I’m gonna cut a little metal out.

I put a level on the core support after I finished adjusting the driver front up and it’s damn close to perfect. Center line measurements from hub to fender show the driver side 1/32 lower than passenger side.

Arrrrg! BigBend, I’m jealous, never been. Work getting in the way, new projects starting and making plans for overseas family summer trip. I will tell you this, anyone can get a lift for their truck but having a CST lift, craftsmanship second to none, is awesome and will definitely put a smile on your face with every mile, it’s the best, period!

What part of Texas are you in. Come next year. I support the 50 mile run they do each year. We set up a radio station for the furthest out check point.
