No sound from radio

I have 2014 z71 sierra with bose radio no sound from radio but turn signal and door chime work . Any ideas

Had the same issue on my 17 Sierra, had to disc battery to fix

It worked fine on the way home from work this morning but I know it'll fo back out. I'll try disconnectingthe battery next time it goes out

I had the same thing happen with my 15 Sierra but usually when it’s cold out. There’s a topic that discusses it. I use to just turn the car off, wait for everything to shut down, screen and all, then turn key to acc, wait for chime, then start it up.

Mine used to do it on a regular basis also, had to turn it off, open the door to shut it down, then restart would typically do it.  Sometimes it would take couple minutes to reset.

The "Radio" isn't really a radio anymore, its a processor and will sometimes get stuck when it "wakes up", like when your smart phone has a delay.  As more info is stored onto the "radio" it can start to bog it down.  I've had it happen, but as others have said, as well, I usually turn it off, and lock the doors, unlock then restart.  Seems to work fine after that.
