OKC Performance Shops?

Just looking to see about getting some work done on my 6.2

 

Probably a cam, headers, gears and maybe some others since I just crossed the warranty mileage and I'm "free" to do what i want.

 

 

I'm new to OK and just wondered if there was a "go-to" shop or any "Stay the heck away" shops in the OKC area.

EXACTLY!  You have several good shops in your town.  Let us know if you pick any of the ones we see on TV.

Fireball Performance has a good truck package, and based on what I'm paying locally to do a similar build, they are priced fair.

XP Racing off of NW Expressway behind the GMC dealer does good LS stuff. Haven't been there in a long time, so not sure how he is with the new LT engines.

Honestly no. I seen it a few times when it was new but not lately.

And I knew I would get some response like that.

 

I used to live in SC (Obviously) but finding a shop that would take on a "non-racing" project was pretty tough. Everyone in the world had dirt cars or some other form of a track car and those shops were always slammed. And naturally they very rarely did non racing engines because those types of customers would likely be a one/two time income whereas the racers are in there a few times a year with rebuilds and what not. I wasn't sure if it would be the same here.
