Say what?

Yeah I was referring to Amazon primes 2 day shipping lol.

AH, I got ya.

Ya, Amazon ships pretty fast. I ordered an antenna adapter, double din install bracket, and that interface module. Cost about $100 total, and came with free next day delivery, so I will receive them tomorrow. If it doesn't solve the problem, Amazon will pay the return shipping and refund immediately, so I have nothing to lose. I will let ya know how it goes.

P.S. Any thoughts on that steering wheel radio controls adapter module thingy?

I put that in my daughters tahoe too because I wanted it hands free. Worked perfectly.

I was thinking about installing it, but I already have a remote control for it. Not sure if I would use it or not. I don't think I would pay a lot. How much was yours?

I think it was around $40. I have a Kenwood radio. This is the one I got actually. https://amzn.to/2ILBZaP

Steering wheel control interface for radios from 2016 and older from Alpine, JVC, Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony Valor, OEM, Boyo, Dual, Visteon, Advent, and Blaupunkt Radios. Controls functions such as volume, mode and track. Radios must be equipped with a wired remote control input.

make sure and read the install instruction, if i remember right, on some bose systems you need to set the volume level before you disconnect the factory radio. if to low you would be cranking up the volume on after market, set to it to high you will be getting a lot of noise due to the factory volume setting.

Look what I found in a box of my old stereo stuff. Didn't even know I had it. Wonder if it's compatible with Chevy and alpine.

looks like a toyota plug and steering wheel control module, the pac module should work if you have steering wheel control output on radio.

Hi, you are correct about the volume. It has to do with the digital amp. As for the plugs, I think this stuff came out of a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder, but I could be wrong. Haven't tried to install this steering wheel thing, but I will sooner or later. Might as well, since I already have it. Thanks for the input fellas.
