2016 Yukon LED Headlight conversion

Recommended Posts

I’ve got a 2016 GMC Yukon XL SLT with those ridiculous and worthless halogen projector headlights that I’m looking to switch to LED, any ideas of quality kits that are simple to switch to?

See our thread about this topic. Has guides and examples of HID vs LED. LuciasMaximus ran with Xenon Depot setup. See pictures on the above thread.

Thanks for your response but it says the page doesn’t exist any longer

That is really weird. Click back to the main forums for:

- 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 Chevrolet Suburban/Tahoe, GMC Yukon, & Cadillac Escalade

Then scroll down and see about the 5th post down which is titled:

just bought a 2015 Yukon, and i will probably go with the morimoto hid kit that i put on my 15' duramax from the retro fit source. i have no affiliation with trs but the hid's are amazing vs the stock projectors!

looks like they would be a solid option.... I am going to stick with the morimoto hid's,I have had led's in my truck before and it definitely caused ice/snow to build up with the lack of heat from the bulbs!!
