Hi
I have being dealing with a power steering whine off idle to about 2000 rpm. the steering and hydroboost work normal, I just installed three new ac delco pump, hosesand power steering cooler,
the hydroboost unit was changed 2 years ago due to leaking .I go though to bleeding procedure of jacking up. filling and turning wheel lock to lock with engine off to bleed are from system and flush system with three different fluids . LUCAS, REDLINE and AC Delco power steering fluid. i have vacuum bleed system multiply time on sign of air and hold vacuum for over a hour . when i check the fluid level with
the engine running the pump has a faint whine to a groan, it will get louder when i try to bring fluid to proper level. when i drive with windows up and no ac or radio you can hear it make whine or groan .
Is the any way to fix this . any help is appreciated and thank

Are you saying you have put 3 power steering pumps on your truck?  Were all three put on to resolve the whine?

When did the whine start?  How far have you driven since the last attempt at getting the noise to stop?  Generally a whine is due to either air in the hydraulic fluid, or from excessive pressure being produced.

Double check that the hoses didn't get crossed up when reconnecting hoses.

You still have air in the system. These systems are a pain in the ass to bleed, even under vacuum.

Just be patient, and keep working that steering wheel WITHOUT hitting the stops - count how many turns it takes to be just under full stop, and continue working it until all the air is out. Make sure the reservoir has fluid, too, when you do this - it will drop pretty quick as air is expelled, and then foam up on you, making you work twice as hard.
