adding turn signal lights?

i have a 02' 2500hd, i would like to add the side mounted turn signal lights to my truck so when towing my 27' travel trailer others would see more clearly when i would like to change lanes. has anyone added these to their trucks ? if so, where did you wire them too, did you splice them in your front turn signal lights? any info would help thanks!!!

just got done adding side mounted turn signal lights to my 02 2500hd, and everything went well. i will post some pics soon. i think it will help alot when wanting to switch lanes.
