Rejoining the Chevy Family

About a month ago I made the move of trading in my 2015 Challenger R/T in on my first brand new vehicle, a 2018 Silverado double cab.  So far I love the truck and am glad to be back in the family.  I have been wanting to do a murdered out black vehicle for a long time so I got my truck in black, with color matched bumpers and the black door handles.  In the month I have owned it I have made quite a few modifications to it.

First thing was exhaust!  Cut everything out past the first two cats including the third cat and ran new pipe to a single in dual out muffler, then dual tips out the side infront of the passenger tire.  I'm not sure what muffler my exhaust guy went with but because I have the 4.3l I wanted something only slightly louder than stock.  Next was tint, I put 18% on all the windows with 55% on the windshield.  Also for the time being I put the rough country 2.5" leveling kit on.  last but not least I'm a big car audio guy so I had to put some bass in it.  I decided to keep the OEM radio in it, and ran a PAC line converter to a SKAR lP100.1 amplifier pushing 2 Sundown SDV3 shallow mount 10's in a prefab under seat sealed box.  Overall I love the truck so far and the modifications I have done.  I have already purchased a McGaughys 4/6 deluxe drop kit for the truck and am just waiting to order some gloss black DUB s204 22's to put on it before I install the drop kit.

Welcome and nice truck. I will be adding some bass to my ride shortly.. curious where you tapped into for the PAC and where you routed your interior wiring.

if you look at the first picture I posted there are two plugs that go to the radio brain on the left side, in my case I tapped into the brown plug off of two speaker wires that I checked the wiring diagram and color codes for.  I double sided taped the PAC module underneath everything out of the way and ran my RCA's and remote turn on from the PAC module down and to the floor and to the rear.  Obviously you will wanna check wiring diagram for your specific trim and everything but that's where I tapped.  Those two plugs and cabling are tied together with a clip behind the vent, I removed the vent and pulled the cable tie, and pulled the two cable bundles through the vent area to work on them comfortably, once I was done I tesa taped my tie in line to the pac module for a factory appearance and pulled the cables back through where they were originally routed and plugged back into the brain box
