light bar behind the grille

Go one step further and give it a factory switch so it looks like this. This is a GM part. The bottom right button operates the light bar.

You can buy the switch assembly on eBay. It's a direct replacement.

I have a light bar on the front wired into that switch. I have two cubes in the back that I wired to automatically come on with my reverse lighting as well. All of my off-road LED lights are from Rough Country. Rough Country off-road lighting is a great quality alternative to a high-end brand like Rigid. The best thing about RCX is that they have a "scratch and dent" eBay profile that sells their products drastically marked down. (I'll post a link to their profile below.) I bought all of mine from their scratch and dent sales, and I can't find anything wrong with them aesthetically.

it will dim with the interior lights, you cannot dim the exterior grille mounted lights with it.

 

 

the switch is just a switch lead for a relay, can't wire the lights in line through the switch.
