Lift kit

Just got a 2014 chevy Silverado LTZ 4x4. Im looking to put a lift on it and I have never lifted a truck. Just want some opinions on what the best options is and how much I should lift it. Ive had my eye on a 3.5in Rough Country suspension life just to get some more clearance. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks and I appreciate it in advance

The 3.5” kits are garbage. They are glorified leveling kits, NOT lift kits. They leave you with a stiff ride and crappy angles. If you send a smaller kit, there’s plenty of 4/4.5” kits out there
