Just got back from Lollapalooza

Today I had to spend the day at Lollapalooza. For those of you that don't know, Lollapaloza is a music festival that features artist like JANE ADDICTION, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, THE DONNAS and other like bands. I had to work the autograph tent for my company. It would have been cool if I was into any of these bands, but since I am not, it was just work.

Anyway, the really funny part of my day was at breaktime. I walked around the grounds to check out the different booths. There must have been about fifty. I came upon this one area that had about twenty booths real close together and they were all environmental groups. I was surrounded by ALL kinds of B***S***. They were all there...the don't-eat-eat-meat-because-of-all-the-terrible-things-they-do-to-the-animals-before-they-are-killed groups, vegetarian groups, save the beaver groups, the President sucks groups, use Hybrid cars groups and many, many more. PETA was even there. So I'm walking among all these DUMBS**** trying very had to keep my mouth shut, when I come to a bend in the road and what do I see? MEAT!!! EVERYWHERE! There is booth after booth, selling shish-kabobs, BBQ meat, hot dogs and hamburgers. Not even 50 yards from all these veggie groups and animal lovers. I was laughting so hard... It was great. Had the food not been so expensive I would have bought a shish-kabob and walked back the way I came and stopped and talked to some of these people. That would have been good for a laugh.

I wish I had had my camera, it would have been a good picture. You know these people could smell the food cooking and it was probably driving them crazy. I had to call Tim and tell him to make me ribs for dinner. MMMMM....they were good too.

I just thought I would share my day with you...hope you get a good laugh too...

I would have liked to seen those bands. He!! with all the save-something-groups. Elwood went to Lollapalooza around '96 I think.

That's funny stuff. It's almost like seeing a save the rain forest tent, with a wooden furniture tent right next to it. A picture would of been priceless

I tell ya........ It takes all walks of life on this planet..

I was in vegas about a month ago and was walking out of the restroom when much to my suprise I saw 2 chicks making out right at the door to the womens restroom..... I tell you vegas is something else.........

Kind've off subject but on subject.......

Moral of the story......... Look out for the crazzy's

It is kinda sad...they preach about freedom of speech and rights to their opinions and had I done what I wanted to do with the hamburger or steak I would have been yelled at and stomped...well not stomped...those vegetarians are too sickly to take me.
