Not keeping this truck forever, so looking at some simple, quick performance perks to make to my silverado. I have the 4.3 as it was all I could afford at the moment, and just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I was thinking of just a CAI, i dont know if i want to go to the extent of a programmer. Not a fan of doing an exhaust on a v6 that much either. Has anyone put one on and noticed any more of an increase in any respect? I've heard theres a lag in throttle response on the newer trucks at stock, but I havent read into it enough to see whether or not its bogus.

What year do you have?  I don't think the 2019 trucks with the 4.3 are out yet.
