Parking light problem

AI have a 2018 Silverado 2500 HD diesel that has a problem with the passenger parking lamps (the amber lights outboard of the headlight).  

It doesn’t light up when the headlights are turned on but will flash when I unlock/lock using the remote key fob. 

What can be causing this?

It’s not the bulbs since they flash when locked/unlocked.

Have you checked the wire harness? Doesn't make much sense, but it's the first thing I'd look at. Make sure it's all connected snugly

I figure the harness is intact since the parking lights flash when the truck locks using the remote.

Maybe something with the BCM. See if theres a way to reset. Maybe pull battery connections

I was thinking it may be a BCM glitch.  

I’m taking it back to the dealer since it’s under warranty.

Turned out to be a loose wire in a connector at the parking lamp. 

Repair was covered under warranty.
