4cyl mode after mods.

Hey everyone I have a 2014 6.2 With CAI long tube headers and tune that was done previous to the headers.My truck wants to be in 4cyl mode all the damn time.Even uphill against the wind and almost 247 on the highway.The thumping 4cyl mode sounds aweful and there is a very noticeable diference when it switches.I know i can tune it off but has anyone else had their truck wanting to be in 4cyl mode that much.

Tune out the AFM. First thing I did when I got my truck. It’s gonna want to be in 4cylinder mode as much as possible. Dam EPA

My 5.3 didnt do it that much, in fack i would wonder why its not doing it sometimes. I turned mine off after the muffler install, chopper noise was annoying.

 

Try using up a tank of gas in M5 mide and see how you like it and how the MPG behave. Annoying thinh is you have to remember to put it in M5 each time.
