My co-workers want me to leave the truck (15 SB cc Denali) stock and I have had leveled GM vehicles before and found it to be decent look but sometimes poor ride. I originally was thinking of a 4" lift which doesn't seem to jive with magride which is fine if I completely removed all magride and install the resistor simulators to bypass.

What is your setup and or recommendations if you could do it again!?

I have read a lot of the level and lift stuff but want to know some thoughts

Also hello I'm New to this forum! Welcome

My personal experience: I’ve got the 2018, GMC 1500, CrewCab Z71

Did the 2.25” front Billet Aluminum and added 1” rear, immediately noticed a rougher ride, added Bilstein 5100’s which helped a little.

Ride worsened MUCH MORE adding larger E rated tires in order to fill in the wheel wheel space. Added custom wheels and different tires, same rough ride.

Did the CST 4.5” lift and immediately smoothened the ride. Leveling is for looks, worsens the angles of your suspension causing premature wear and tear as some cheap lifts do too. CST is specifically designed to lift your truck keeping everything stock giving a stock ride which is what everyone desires, STOCK RIDE!

Leveled look

4.5” lifted

In addition, tract width isn’t affected like cheaper lift do. You can use your stock wheels and tires, saving you a bunch $

After all my research it seems you have really been pushing CST is there any reason to this (hopefully not kickbacks)

I just want a well looking and riding truck. I will primarily not tow and be on road 75% of the time.

I wish I could drive in a lifted magride delete to feel the difference but I find speedbumps extremely harsh in this leveled Denali and it has reloaction brackets with two holes for the mag shocks. It is not in the highest setting which I might try.

I absolutely love my CST lift kit because the build quality is far more superior in build quality then anything out on the market today, it’s all built in house, American made etc etc. As a matter of fact, I overheard the installer tell management that the CST lift kit he installed on my truck is the most heavy duty lift he’s ever installed that seriously impressed not only the installer but me as well.

I own my own brick and mortar business and need ZERO kick back unlike others I neither need nor require.

I’ve owned a lot of trucks, all high end and have always had ride quality issues with all the lifts installed which eventually led to their trade in.

My reason for purchasing this lift is because I do not follow the trend, I expect and require the best in anything I own, loving this lift is simple and obvious, the “ride quality” is second to none and this is why I support CST.

Driving with magride delete would be like driving a standard lifted truck with no magride which is mine. I’m not a fan of magride.

If this is how magride is supposed to feel it's not great I have had magride in my cts-v and it was much better controlled.

How would you rate the ride comfort with tour lift?

My Escalades drove like trucks, mostly due to the 22’s. You’ve got to realize that a rougher ride is inevitable when an E or F rated tire is added to any vehicle. A buddy of mine bought a brand new 2016 GMC 1500 already lifted from the dealership, he warned me about lifting my truck and that he’s not crazy about his ride quality. After a ton of research and speaking with serious off-road shops as well as a few guys on the forums I jumped on the CST, ordering everything that was designed for the 4.5” lift and just with Bilstein 5100’s front and long ones in rear, truck drives really smooth.

Here’s the added suspension going on next week.

All in all, comparing CST lifts to all the others, I give them a 10!

Forgot to mention, currently running a 3” rear CST rear block, switching it out with a 4” same day the new coilovers are being installed.

Going for more lift in the rear? So everything will be cst when your done correct?

I have run 5100s in the past. Not too bad got cheaper.

I have leveled two gm truck/subs and both are jawbreakers over speedbumps even with autoride and or magride rods adjusted.

Never driven a lifted gm. So I'm intrigued.

Doesn’t really matter as long as they’re tapered for angle. The rear 4” blocks were ordered yesterday but may be replaced if not here by Tuesday with another manufacturers block.

My truck was leveled for about 5 months and had horrible ride quality even with Bilsteins. Bilsteins are the intro level into mods.

Here’s the kicker! Installed my new rear CSR 6530’s and immediately changed everything, 25 mph over a big speed bump almost jarred the front 5100’s (so glad getting rid of them this Tuesday) but felt super soft with the 6530’s. Huge difference from being leveled.
