Rear Seat Cigerette Lighter Plug

Have a 2015 2500HD LT. It's a crew can with bench seat. The cigerette lighter that's on the back side of the bench accessible to back seat stopped working.

Basically was in a Xmas parade and used a converter to run Christmas lights for a float. I guess it wasnt big enough or something. Worked for 20mins or so then suddenly lights cut off. Went to pull converter plug and it was melted. Now the cigerette lighter will not work.

Pulled every single fuse on driver side AND passenger side of dashboard fuse panels and nothing blown. Pulled a bunch from under hood and again nothing blown.

What am I missing??? Any ideas?

Take it apart.

May have melted the wire or the cig plug.

Try this post on the site, older trucks, but sounds like the same problem. Aux Power Outlet Not Working

Ok So I literally just took every fuse out of all 3 fuse blocks. Passenger side of dash, driver side of dash and under the hood. Also popper the rear cigerette lighter out and checked wires coming out the back and they looked good but did not trace them all the way forward

Did you check the wires to the plug to see if you had power coming through them. I would probably plan on replacing the plug.
