Head swap

I plan on getting a bone stock 92' chevy 350 tbi. I want to make about 300hp but I cannot find out what I have to do to install vortec heads on the engine. Do I need a new intake or a adapter. Plus what cam should I get for about 100-170. And if I need a intake and or adapter what adapter should I get. I know I'm gonna need to tune the car to get 300hp

You will need a new intake adapter. TBI and vortec just do not line up. You have many options. I would recommend reading the following and go from that point.
