Doors rubbing together before I took delivery.

I ordered a truck and waited 3 and a 1/2 months for to come in. I had made plans to have it ceramic coated the weekend I purchased it. I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue may not of even noticed the passenger front door At some time rubbed on the back door where the 2 doors meet at the bottom not major but still.

 

I would check the bottom of your passenger door!

Have not noticed this, but I was out working on my running boards on my 2018 crew cab and noticed that the lower back corner of the rear door sticks out from the rest of the body by about a good 1/4".    The rest of the door is aligned, it's just that the bottom of the door seems to not follow the same body contour as the cab.    I'll try to get a pic next time I remember.    Looked very sloppy, but not super noticeable if you're not down at that level looking at it.

Just checked and no rubbing, but have about a 1/8th" gap on the drivers side rear door at the bottom.

The only door related problem with T1 I have read up on, is in reference to the "rippled" aluminum skin as you look down the side.

I'll keep my 1/8th" flaw... Would hate to have that in black, it would show badly.
