2019 trail boss grill upgrade

Can anyone tell me if I could put the grill with the bow tie from the LT Trailboss models onto a custom model

The picture above is how I would want the front end to look.  Picture below is what I have now.  (Yea I know, should of got the LT model)

Well. It’s not letting me added another picture. I currently have the stock custom front. Where the grill spells out Chevrolet

Dimension wise where they meet the headlights they are different.

You'd have to swap all of it (bar in the middle is part of the grille assembly only for both the Custom TB and LT TB), so grille assembly and headlights.

 

Grille won't line up with the halogen lamps.  The LT and up lamps are narrower to allow for the cut for the grille "fins" that are around the DRL.

Alright. Thanks man.  To much work for me lol.   How about getting some letters or something to stick back in the Chevrolet spelling.  Would like for it to be silver in there or something

You probably can. 

But you would have to also upgrade the headlights & turn signals, as the LED's are a different housing size than the Custom Halogens.

All of that bracketry and wiring could get expensive.

Yea. I wasn’t sure if the headlights would need to be changed.  But. I’ll be passing on the grill swap

I think I like the custom better too. Been looking at that bowtie too many years. Letters is a good change of pace.

Overall you would be better to spend some money on paint protection film for that painted front bumper. Mine looks like a street sign that has been peppered with bird shot after three years.

Anyone find a chrome cover/cap for the “Chevrolet” grill bar like the new 2020 HD’s?  I have a white 2019 Custom and think would look pretty  good!

That would be sweet if they have some insert letters for the grille like they have for the tailgates

Do they make insert letters for the Grille yet I know they have them for the tail gate

Me too, I wish you could get the Custom frontend on the higher trim levels
