Curious if anyone has installed an AirLift WirelessOne and if so where did you choose to install it? 2017 Sierra 1500 SLT Z71 Crew Cab 6.5' Bed.

I did in my DMax and the remote was horrible, don’t have pics but I wound up doing the manual push button in-cab under steering column that engaged the compressor whenever I needed more or less. Worked great not having to get out to fill up the bags.

I got one for my truck and it works great if your only filling up once and a while.

I run my bags at 7psi for day to day driving. Keep this under the back seat and if I get a load in the bed or I'm going to trailer something I just fill it up till the truck is level again.

I love my AirLift WirelessOne, I mounted it just behind the cab on passenger side of the frame on my 2015 Silverado 1500. It's pretty much where they recommend the installation.  I love the ability to fine tune my weight distribution on the fly while towing. I keep the remote on the visor and as long as you don't take it outside and leave it on a bumper and drive away, you should be fine.

To be clear, you mounted it under the truck in the area you mentioned on the frame?  Not that you should need to, but is it accessible where it is?  I'm curious...could one theorhetically service their tires with it if they had too?  Seems like it might be a slow way to go for that job but when in a pinch I'm curious if it could be done.  

 

FWIW, I already have the WirelessOne...just looking into where to mount it right now.

Yes that is where I mounted it. From everything I read, no it's not setup for you to use to service the tires.
