I am checking and trying to get some info. I have a 2014 ltz silverado is why i am searching for info. I just worked on a customers 2014 Silverado with the trans or torque converter shuttering and the at times when u stopped it would have nothing. Rpm goes up and no go. Shut off and start back up and it would go when in drive. Got where it would do it alot. So i checked the fluid and flushed the trans. Fluid was terrible. torque converter had a bad sound. After doing the flush it seemed ok and he hasnt called back. I told him to get ready to install a torque converter.  Has anyone seen this problem first hand. I had read alot about this and it sounds like chevy has a problem with the converters. Reason i am really concerned is like i said i have a Silverado same year with only 82k and customer had 125k. If i wanted to go ahead and change my converter before this problems happens what would be the best convertor to use. I dont do alot of towing heavy stuff and i dont race it. Just want a strong smooth ride. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

Rock auto has a few choices. I myself would go aftermarket as gm clearly has shown they're parts selection isnt the best.
