Advice please - Z71 or Max Tow for my needs

Okay guys - I would like your help.

after reading all of the specs, info in this great forum I am leaning towards a RST, crew cab, standard bed, 5.3,  with 18” tires.

 

leaning towards RST for Bose, fog lights, and bucket seats (not a must for me).

 

I tow a dry weight 5,000 trailer and with water, propane, and gear probably 6,000. I only Tow about 1,000 mikes year spread out over 4 days.

 

I like the Z71 for its dual exhaust and 4 low.

 

I like the Max Tow for higher payload, rear axle, and 3.42 vs 3.23.

 

What are your thoughts?

what does revised shock tuning mean? I also like the the heavier rear springs and axle specs. Mine w MTP drives like a beast. I want to test drive a Z71 to see if the rancho shocks are better or worse......
