Huh, I would really like to know why the 2 bolts could not be tightened.

I took my 2020 Sierra 3500 in for this problem when it was still under warranty. The dealer claimed it was the power steering pump. Knowing it wasn't the pump I didn't let them change it and have continued to deal with the problem since it has just been an annoyance in my case. It rattles and makes a noise at random times and speeds. I then slightly wiggle the shifter and it stops. I would like to know why I can't just tighten the 2 bolts also.
