Outer tie rod ends....

I have almost 38K on my 02 Z71, and I thought I felt a click in the front end while backing out of the driveway....I looked underneath at the front end, and noticed the tie rod ends are wet R & L at the grease boot. I think the tie rods are already worn out....or on the way out. Anyone had issues so soon?? I am pissed!

I got 33K on my 02 2WD and it seems that mine are wearing out as well not sure what I am gonna do about it yet cause they are just at the point where you can kinda move them, so not totally worn out yet. But your not alone on this one.

I've got some blown boots it seems on some of my components too...I'd have to refresh my technical know-how and look to see exactly where they are. Ok, "after further review"...tie rod ends as well...at 51,500

Had my left inner and outer tie rods go out at 29,000. Luckly still under warranty. Kinda sad, my 79 still looking new, but who knows I beat the hell out of her and she still takes it and ask's for more. Replaced them once at 84K have 140k on her now and still looks good. Do not know why my 02 went shot soon but that does concern me. O' well.
