6.5" Lift

Anyone running a 6.5 with Stock wheel fitment on 35's. Looking to remove my RC 3.5 this fall and go with a true lift kit. Looking at the Zone 6.5 since it's the same price as the 4.5 but I do not want the tires sticking outside the fenders. Pics would be great.

Check out CST if you’d don’t want tires sticking out. CST does a full drop of upper and lower control arm mounting points so no wider spindle is needed

Depending on tire width, stock wheels will potentially give you issues regardless of knuckle vs bracket lift.

Knuckle may have contact near the upper ball joint. Bracket may contact on the actual arms of the UCA, and /or the sway bar. Both types of lift recommend less backspacing than stock 20s.

Of course, this all assumes you are referring to 20's, and will be influenced in what year (what uca) you have. I don't think stock 18's will clear regardless.

What lift are you running. Truck looks great. Exact stance I'm looking for.

If I'm not mistaken, he's on a zone 6.5, but swapped out spacers for full length coil overs in front.

Exactly correct.

Are you running any kind of wheel spacers?

I'm just running BORA 1.5" spacers in the rear to match the width with the front.

Gotcha. Looks good.

Some folks say you can't run factory wheels with stamped steel UCA's.  I have been with no problems.  The upper ball joint is pretty close to the tire, but it works.  I had some contact at full-lock originally with the strut spacers....it didn't hurt anything....just wiped the dirt off the tire! ? When I put coilovers in there, all contact went away.  Probably because the coilovers were set just a tad higher than the spacers.

I have stock 18's wonder if that would be an issue with any rubbing. Not really wanting to buy new wheel. Really love the way yours sits and would like to duplicate it with my factory wheels.
