Flapping/Ticking Sound

Some of these noises are hard to pinpoint and are intermittent.

I have been chasing something in my dash for years.

Only seems to happen in the winter/colder months and occurs when the Bose Subwoofer is at full output.

Its weird you just sent me that because I just got done with the dealership and they replaced that steering column boot and the second I drove off the lot, I heard it again so it couldn't be that. I drove around with the service guy and of course the noise was not heard when he was in the car.... SHOCKER!! So I just told them to take out the odometer and make sure everything is tight back there cause I literally have no idea what it is. I wish I could post my video so you guys could hear the noise but its too big of a file...

So that didn't do it.. I took apart the whole part of the odometer dash and couldn't figure out where the noise is coming from. I tightened every bolt behind each panel I could find and it wasn't fixed. I honestly want to say that the noise is coming from my odometer when I drive over rougher roads. I am going insane over here trying to figure this thing out. I'm assuming you can't unplug the odometer and drive without it plugged in? Something else that makes me believe that it is something to do with the odometer is I went over a pretty big speed bump this AM and it sounded like something was clunking around that area, almost like whatever was moving hit the top and bottom of the enclosure and made the same noise.. send help please lol
