Light came on so connected scanner and got the codes. Took it to dealer to look at. They said in tank fuel pump, high pressure pump, fuel rails, and injectors need to be replaced. Total cost $4550. The $1100 extended warranty is coming in handy.

And the extended warranty company is buying this BS? Good for you if they do though. Usually they send an inspector.

They actually did send an inspector. Also most of the cost comes from the labor. I figured is was just going to be an injector that needed to be replaced. I am not going to complain though.

What labor?????

the most labor intensive is the in tank LPFP since it requires the gas tank to be dropped. The HPFP, fuel lines and injectors can literally be swapped out in less than 2 hours start to finish.

The HPFP is around $900, the DI injectors are around $65 each, the LPFP is around $250. Total for those parts is less than $2k and that would be including the intake manifold gaskets and the one time use fuel lines under the intake manifold.

The P050D points to a bad injector. The P0300 is the random misfire on multiple cylinders, the P0302 and 0303 point directly to cylinders 2 and 3 as having the issues. My guess is more than likely you have several bad injectors, not uncommon on the LT series engines. A new set of injectors for the offending cylinder would have fixed it, but if they are replacing all of them that is great as well. I really doubt the HPFP went bad, or even the LPFP either, but hey if the warranty company is agreeing to pay for it then take it as a win.

When the cost first came up I thought it was way high. So I called around to other dealers in other cities and it ranged from $1250-$1500 just to change all injectors. Others on the forum have said the same when it comes to what they are being charged. For some reason dealers charge alot for injectors even though they can be bought for $65 on my own. Then I added both the pumps and fuel rails and it started to add up. The labor is expensive in my area for everything which I am use to. I am interested to see the invoice and the cost of everything. Either way I am not paying anything so I am happy.
