Multi pro tailgate removal

I used the Putco harness #529005.

Speaking of these new tailgates. There is no more manual opening latch. How would one open said gate if the vehicle battery is dead, especially with a tonneau installed?

I installed the light bar this weekend but it seems like my tailgate drops a lot faster and almost slams lightly when it opens. I'm not sure what happened.

Any suggestions for getting the passenger side back on on a 2020 GMC 2500 At4 with the multipro (if that matters)?

 

I was lifting the tailgate up and pulled it off the passenger side. Can't seem to get the angle anywhere that looks like it might work.

I have a 2nd connector from tailgate harness, anyone know how to disconnect this one

Slide the red tab down and then press on  the white tab beneath it and pull apart.
