Denali chrome grill black out??

New to this forum so I apologize in advance if this has been asked here before. I have a 19 Denali and I am not crazy about all of the large chrome/plastic trim pieces on the front. I dint mind chrome accents like the lettering and window trims but the front of this has a little too much bling for me.... so my question is I have seen several denalis with blacked out grills and I am wondering what people are using? Painting it black? Wrapping with vinyl? Plastidip stuff?

My my main thing is I want to have the finish be durable enough to drive through the woods and car washes without getting all scratched up. For the lower portion and the fog light trim I think I can order stock black parts from the elevation/AT4 but for the grill and the surrounding mask around the grill I want to try and find a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have attached a pic of my truck as well as a couple sample trucks I have seen..

thanks in advance!

Well, i know what your going for, i personally like the chrome on the Denali. Especially with a black truck,The other color trucks with black grill doesn't look good to me, body color looks good, yours being black will definitely tone it down. Takes away from the "Denali" status,, I love your truck as it is ,, but its your truck.... enjoy whatever you do.

Have it painted. I have the same truck but in red tintcoat and have slowly been updating things to minimize the chrome. I will leave some but next is the grill which I will have painted. I've had this done on other vehicles in the past and it's much better in my opinion than plastidip or wrap. Looks factory to. If you don't care about keeping the denali grill, you can get a GM factory grill like the AT4 already painted. It just wont be the same design as the denali grill. Look at shopchevyparts.com. I've also ordered wheel arches and mirror caps in my red color and they do have the AT4 style painted grills which are body color around the outside and black in the middle. They also have the black emblems.

Yea I seen that grill with the black surround on shopchevyparts. But I do like the denali grill and would rather have the denali grill black. I seen some aftermarket grills that look pretty good too but I think I am going to try and have these painted black first and see how long it lasts! I appreciate the reply! post some pictures if you get yours blacked out before me!
