Programming needed to update to a CarPlay module?

Hello everyone,

 

I’ve recently acquired a 2.5 HMI module, a radio module, and USB port to add CarPlay to my 2015 GMC Sierra. Do I need to send these parts out for reprogramming to my VIN or can I just swap them out and hope they’ll plug and play?
