northguy Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Where can you get a keyed power source to run a relay for after market light bar? Is there a point in the fuse box?
RobZ Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Good question, I am planning on installing a SiriusXM stratus 7 receiver and was wondering the same thing.
RobZ Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 I found a place to tap into auxiliary 12VDC. Under the drivers side dash there is an extra connector X260. It has a blank mating connector pugged into it. I will be going to GM to see if I can get the pins. In the GM up-fitters website you can download the breakout but the Black wire on 1 is ground and the Violet/Yellow wire on 6 is the accessory power. It is a 14 pin plug. x260.doc 1

Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk Keep me posted on this. I would like to set up an additional USB charging port and keep it clean like a factory install. If you can post a write up or PM how you did it I would really appreciate it. 1

RobZ Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I have them on order from GMpartsdirect.com Have not received them yet. Today I will swap the 50 amp fuse (F27/F28) in the passenger side fuse box so the accessory power will be tied to the retained accessory power and will try tapping into the extra pin near the F28.
Rckstr7 Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Do you know what the part number is off of gmpartsdirect? Thank you.
RobZ Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) Part number is listed in the attached word document. Two different pin sizes. Also swapping the fuse did not change the extra pin to RAP. So I wired the sirius power cord to the cigar lighter wires Edited September 9, 2019 by RobZ added content
Rckstr7 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 If I am reading the word file right the terminals are 13575818 and 13575824? Just confirming because gmpartsdirect.com lists those numbers as "wire" and a little over $6 each.
RobZ Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Yes, they are the pin crimped to a 6" piece of wire with a butt connector, not cheap
salem185 Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I bought this part number Connector Part Number: 88956523 UI Bulletin 155 Preliminary.pdf
Josh Childers Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Does anyone know what fuse the violet/yellow wire is on?? I found the x260 connector yesterday, but pin 6 is not hot when the truck is running. I'm thinking it's a blown fuse.
