Got mine back from paint today and installed it

Did you guys who installed the Airdesigns scoop use Acetone to clean the hood as the instructions say, or something else?

Any of you who installed go through winters? 
Curious how this holds up with freeze / thaw - water getting under and freezing. Feel like this might just pop off

There is info in the installation guide for leaving places for water drain in the front that I think would help avoid any issues.
