Third Party Nerf Bars

I ordered and installed these:

https://www.amazon.com/LUND-23979005-Polished-Stainless-Silverado/dp/B07JDYZBHY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Rugged,, look good, and simple install.  And $500 less than the ones from GM.   The best part is it's one thing I can add that doesn't involve a trip to the dealer to program the stupid computer to work with them - like the factory fog light kit.  It would not surprise me to hear someone say they needed their GM accessory floor mats programmed.

How low below the pinch weld do these sit?  I ordered some generic ones on ebay and they sit really low.  The brackets stick down 6" below the pinch weld and I cant even scoot under my 2" lifted truck without a creeper.  And I'm not that big!

I like the look of bars but I want some that fit high and tight.  Thanks

Not nerf bars but I wanted some high and tight steps. These are the rough country HD2. I really like em.

Those look nice.  Are the brackets attached on the side or below?  The round ones site below and further reduce clearance

They’re below, but kind of “in” them.
