How about getting the scratched wheels powder coated and they give you the tires for free?

It will end up costing them less than 4 new OEM wheels + re mount the tires and you get free tires. I would have asked for that option.

I’d keep your oem wheels, put winter tires on them and go ahead and get your wheel and tires of choice for the non snow days. Just swap them out, they’ll last much longer that way

Hoping I can get the wheels that are scratched when the new ones are installed, then I will powder coat them and either sell them or have a winter set of wheels.

That would be the optimal outcome but they may keep the old ones. Let us know what happens.
