Fuel Wheels vs. Stock??

So I had new tires put on my truck, and they managed to scratch all 4 of my wheels! They are stepping up and gonna pay for new wheels, I can either get stock replacements or if I want they will put aftermarket ones on.  I really like my stock All Terrain wheels and was thinking I may even use the metallic gray from the wheels for a stripe on the hood.  If I go aftermarket that idea is done.  I really like the Fuel Lethal wheels and the chrome ones really caught my eye.  A little worried about chrome and winter salt on the roads in Nebraska.  Looking for opinions

I for one would go with a new set of stock all terrain snowflakes. I love these wheels especially the All Terrain version with the painted pockets. So the OEMs get my vote.

The fuel wheels use cheap ass plastic covers for the lug nuts too. Always hated them.

You had a tire shop scratch all 4 of your rims too? Jeepers Creepers that is absurd!

Make them pony up for brand new OEM wheels. OEM wheels are NOT cheap. That way if you decide you like the fuels you can get those later and sell your like new OEM wheels the tire shop paid for. If they can't hire/train decent tire techs, they sure can pay for mistakes from said incompetent tire techs.

Get genuine gm oem wheels, sell the scratched ones for a few hundred. Fuels arent a terrible wheel, they just have a cheap look because of no exposed lugs.

Fuel.
I’ve never been a fan of any stock wheel on any vehicle

ive had the black OEM on my Sierra the paint and finish on the fuel is way better. (Gloss black)

seems the finish on my fuel sledge is top notch

in the past I had kmc slides and the paint was no where near the finish of my fuels

genuine OEM wheels installed by the dealer of your choice, nothing less.

Those Fuels are your only option? TBH those are some of the ugliest wheels i seen. Keep stock or get better aftermarket wheels.

So I’m going back with the original wheels.  I just  really like them and most of you have  pushed me in that direction anyway.  Thanks for the advice everyone.

Yeah I couldn’t believe it when I noticed 1 scratched wheel, then another, and another, and then all 4! But the shop has been stand up and are making it right.

Just make sure that they are getting GM wheels and not replicas.

They are! I'm having to wait 4-6 weeks for the wheels because of the strike.
