What’s the difference between the stock CV’s and the TB ones?

My icon package came in today, the while deal looks pretty nice. Hopefully I can get it all done in the morning.  I was wondering tho what they are pre set at. It doesnt say anywhere. They are 1.5-3.5 so I figured they are at 1.5, they show 3/4 or preload which comes to 1.5.

It's looking like 3 inch setting with the control arms and 1.5 rear block. I'm thinking I'll do the trail boss cv shafts eventually.

I’ve been interested in the Icon Stage 1 or 2 kit. Let us know how it rides after you get it installed.

Black Friday at polyperformance,  the stage 1 kit was 500.00 cheaper. !!   I'll be sure tho let u know.

How do you like the new rough country control arms did they provide much more clearance over the stock ones I’m very interested in picking them up

They are very nice, look like quality pieces. They are tho for 3 inch lift or more tho. Ball joint angle is really good now, way better than b4.

Nice I have a LTZ with 2” trailboss lift and rough country trailboss 1.5 inch level kit so should be good adding these thanks for the info

When I put the coilovers on yesterday I wasnt sure where they were set at. I read in the icon instructions that they are set at their desired ride heigth(doesnt help) When I sat the truck down it was at 4 inches. After settling down and driving it now it sits at 3 inches dead on.  So I called icon today, they say that they have em set at 3 inches. So I'll leave them.alone and align it in a few days.

Now it drives really nice,  the ride was firmed up but for the better. Handles tho now like a car, a giant difference. The roads here suck and it takes it with ease compared to before.

Theres no vibrations, noises etc. I'll know tomorrow how 4wd is and if the 3 inch setting is ok.

JBA UCA are nice as you can remove just ball joint (easily) and replace that only.....zerk fittings on ball and bushings as well and aren't crazy expensive.....

I would do a UCA with anything 2in and over

Flat, not sure if you get on anymore but I'm going through the same thing. Want a level and a small rear lift. The 3" kits scare me a little with the angles even with new UCAs. What about the CVs?

How have you liked the kit and what would you have done different? I'm dealing with a stock 19 LTZ.

Anyone else that has a 3 to 3.5" lift, do you like it or should I just save up for the 4" BDS?

Would love some input.
