No 2wd Z71, All I have seen is available Z85 on 2wd

yea....check out Chevys' website. Might just be on Colorado/Canyon, but they have pricing for a 2WD Z71.

You are absolutely right. I guess this is gonna be a Pre-runner sort of thing . I'd like to kick somebody at GM in the nuts. I guess the posers will line up to buy these. A product of the current market though

 

Z71 (2WD and 4x4)

 

The Z71 Off-Road Suspension is highlighted by stamped A-arms and a 28mm tubular front stabilizer bar. Firmer urethane jounce bumpers are used on all Z71 models and Z85 4x4 models in place of the softer rubber bumpers used on the Z85 2WD Suspension. Both versions of this suspension have front torsion bars that helps supply performance, handling and stance. An independent front suspension helps keep the front wheels virtually straight up and down at all times for a smooth ride and precise control.

Whats with GM!? I was mad because the little trucks were getting the Z71 stickers and now the little 2wd trucks will have them? I mean Z71 has been known to be a 1500 4x4 for as long as I can remember!

Oh no the legacy is dead the great Z71 off road performance package from off road giant GM will no longer carry the prestige it once had. Now it will be another common equipment option just like the heavy duty locking rear, the heavy duty towing package or the heavy duty rear view mirror. Marketing is everything in the business world, that and gullible consumers.
