Thinking about adding the E85 sensor to my 6.2 and I’m wondering if anyone has a list of all the part numbers needed for adding it. I know I can order the kit from a few places but wondering if it would be cheaper to just order part by part? Also does anyone have a write up on the install?

The search feature is your friend.  There are several write ups including one that concluded earlier this year.  I think the truck was white, don't remember exactly.  All the parts were listed too in the thread.

Here is what I watched to add the E85 sensor to my truck for about 60$.

If you have HP tuner he has a video on how to enable it in the tune.

I may do it this way. It’s going to get tuned in about 2 hours so I’ll talk to my tuner about it then

My sensor was in a slight different spot since his was a regular cab and mine is a crew cab.  So I put mine over the front of the gas tank and just extended the plug.  But it's the same idea.

You don't need all those parts with the way I posted but it's you truck.

True. I’m just worried about leaks. My tuner is as well

Nice of GM to leave the plug exposed to elements, with no cap.

This will only work if getting a tune?

Mine has a dummy plug from the factory, maybe yours fell out.

Yes, a tune must be done to activate the flex fuel features.
