Installing GMC TPMS on Travel Trailer

Recommended Posts

I want to have the 4 included TPMS systems installed on my travel trailer. Where are people going to have these intalled? I thought about a local tire shop, but their lots are pretty tight for towing a 21"+ trailer.

Thanks

I pulled 2 tires at a time and took to Firestone to install. Took a bit longer, but easier than me dragging trailer in.

If you have some jack stands, a lot of people have been removing tires and bringing tire asm to tire shop for ok install.

Yup. And bought a $20 programming device to sync them with the truck.

I brought mine to camper place. Cost a bit more but they also adjusted my drop bar height for the taller trail boss.

Also FYI, you can buy the orange GM tpms tool for less than $20 on Amazon. I believe you can also just let 10 psi out of each trailer tire too to activate them to the truck. It took several tries to get mine to work. I also got an error code. Only solution was to delete trailer profile and start over.

Another too if your truck has user accounts, sign into one first. If you switch trucks your trailer should be remembered on your profile. If you set it up on the guest account you are out of luck I think.
