Need tail light part 2014 Silverado WT, dealer not helpful

Need tail light part 2014 Silverado WT and the parts guy at dealer gave me blank look.   I took off the tail light to get to bulbs by lowing tailgate, removing two torx screw and pulling out on taillight assembly.   The two pins that push into the quarter panel came out with some pulling, but the plastic clip the pin goes into also came out and broke off the part that suppose to hold clip into the quarter panel.   The plastic pin/peg on taillight is fine, it is the plastic piece (clip) that pushes in and suppose to stay in the quarter panel I want to replace.  I pushed the broken plastic piece and the pin all back into quarter panel and seems to be solid and holding.  Still if they sell that piece that fits into the quarter panel I would like to replace it.  On one side all worked fine, the clip/pin stayed in the quarter panel and the taillight pulled out. 

 

Anyone know what that part is called or is my message just too confusing.  Most likely I could just leave it alone, but like to have thing right, guess a little OCD?

This video shows the clips and this guy broke the tiny tabs that holds the clip in the quarter panel just like I did on one side.   That fat part on what he calls the clip is suppose to stay in quarter panel held by two tiny tabs.   Anyway on one side that is the way it worked for me, that fat part stayed in quarter panel and just plastic stub came out that slide in/out to hold in place.  Then on the other side I worked on, the whole thing came off like it did in the video.   I don't believe that is suppose to happen, the tabs should hold it in and only the stub that are attached to taillight slide out.   I was just wanting to buy that retainer that clips into the quarter panel .
