no disrespect towards you but those 1k light bars will still have crystal clear lenses and black housings in 2 years where yours will be faded and yellow. Not to mention the performance difference. 
 

However you could also make the argument that you could buy a new light bar every year for 11 years and still have spent less.

Well I put some on my K5 Blazer about 5 years ago and they still look the same on the lenses.The flat black is faded some but overall no big deal and I live in Arizona,where the sun doesn't give a crap about any products,it just burns everything, lol.

I mounted a 32" behind my grill.  It has to be curved.  I used some L brackets from Home Depot.  Tight Fit, but it works for me.

I tried that with my 32" bar but it would not fit no matter what I did.Probably a difference in the width,my brand was just too fat.Good for you that it fit and it looks great.

How is the light output through the grill? this is what I want to do.

Looks cool.  Can u share what brand of 32 u used?  I have an infinite offroad 30" straight bar but it sound like wont work.  Darn.

Ouput is good, the grill does not interfere with the output.  my bar BARELY fits so there is no ability to change the level in which it points.  I will take a picture of before and after output to help show the difference.

I used the 32" Nilight Curved 32" from Amazon.  If you could find out a little less "fat"/deep you will be able to angle it more.

Was your grill the bowtie or the custom "chevrolet" style grill.  It looks like turkeeslapper has a custom grill.  Maybe that's the difference

Yes! As long as it’s a low profile light bar, on my 2018 GMC SLT, excellent lighting!
