Tyger Star Armor Kit

Random question here, but has anyone put on the Tyger Star Armored side rails for a 2018 Silverado onto a 2020 Silverado? Basically, will the old 2018 rails for the new 2020. I know they say they aren't compatible from the online sites. I'm entertaining buying a used set from a buddy who is getting rid of his 2018 truck to put them on mine. The kicker is, it's a couple hours away and I'm trying to do my homework to save me some time with the drive if they don't work....or significant money if they will work.
