Well I have been letting money burn a hole in my pocket...

I ordered a XM Satellite Radio Monday and have been looking into some DVD players and Monitors for the last day. I know some of you have some sick setups in your vehicles.

Here is where my problems lie. I have a standard cab pickup and am looking for a good location to mount a monitor I would like to keep the stock head unit in the truck. The only reason for this is I will be moving on to another truck in a year or so and dont want to have to tear the dash apart again.

So here is what I have come up with....

Monitor Clarion VMA7191

7" Wide Screen Color LCD Monitor

Player Blaupunkt DVD-ME1

DVD/CD/MP3 Player

So are there any places that you all have put your monitors?

Let the ideas flow. I want to have a full multimedia explosion in the small cab I have! :jester:

If you want to keep the stock headunity you can get a GM AUX adaptor from JPCustoms.com that will let you put the audio in the aux port of your factory headunit.

As far as mounting the monitor. You could mount it on the sunvisor. If you look down a few threads there's a 7" monitor that goes in the front part of the center console that looks really nice. Other than that there aren't many places that I can think to mount one in a reg cab truck.
