My buddy is getting married so I group of us from Colorado are going to New Orleans for his Bachelor party.  I don't know the area and was wondering what to expect.  Do any of you have any recomendations on places to go or boobies to see.  : )

I really don't think you can go wrong with a bachelor party in New Orleans but here's a couple of good ideas for you:

1)Stay out of jail(goes without saying but gotta say it anyway)

2)Take plenty of party pictures and send them to me for....ummmmm....safe keeping.

Sounds like a blast.  French quarters is the place to be.  Make sure you visit Pat O's.  Especially true at night, don't wander too far from the main areas (Bourbon St., etc.).  It goes from touristy to sleazy sometime between midnite and 1 AM.  True anytime of day, don't pick up any strange women.  They might not be women.  LOL Have fun! :)

What are you trying to do, kill the guy?!? ;)

A Colorado Cowboy is sure to get in trouble in N.O. the first time!

My advice, hire a guide. They can be kinda pricey from what I hear, but I read in a magazine that they'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to all the good party spots, hooter bars, etc.

They'll also get you fed and back to your motel.

Think about it this way; you want to give him the greatest sendoff ever, it may not be wise to go into a strange town blind, hoping that everything works out.

Been there. Its great, however you must remeber there are only 2 types of people in The Big Easy. Tourists, and crooks. Don't talk to anyone you dont know.

I don't think it really matters where you go.  With all the booze you guys will be drinking you'll be lucky if you remember what city you are in, let alone how nice those breasts were.

I have been in that city once before, and what was said earlier is true.  Don't venture too far into the city, there are some really nasty places.  I did not care for my time there at all, you won't see me going back.

new orleans is a great place, ive lived here for 6 years now and having a great time. theres larry flints hustler club for a excellent strip club , harra's casino is really nice if you guys wanna gamble a little , just about every bar rocks and theres no closing time, check out razzo's , bourbon street blues company, cats meow to name a few . 3 for 1 daily beer specials are great, stop in and get a hand grenade at tropical isle is a must, that drink will do the trick. as far a wondering off side streets...as long as you all in a group there shouldnt be any problems, the town has actually cleaned up since i first got here, but i still put my wallet in my front pocket. all the main bars are up and down bourbon street so you wont have to travel to far. when you start walking down bourbon st. and the lights dim out and you see rainbow flags hanging on the buildings turn around, thats where the gay section starts. check out www.nola.com for some more info

you guys will have a awsome time   :)  :D

New Orleans does rock! I lived in Mandeville, LA for 10 years (my folks still live there), it is on the north side of New Orleans (across Lake Ponchartrain).  Anyway, definitely hit Bourbon... you can see everything, and I mean EVERYTHING!!!  It doesn't have to be Mardi Gras for the craziness to be going on.

Be safe, and either have a DD, or get the guide, because the cops in New Orleans don't take SH#$ from ANYONE.  Sometimes I think beatings are LEGAL there! :0

Just remember, the good pics can't be posted on the forum. Don't want anyone to be grounded, fired, or divorced.  :):D

I wouldn't mind going there myself. Bourbon St. Chicken, and jumbalya kick butt!
