Was there any changes on how stabilitrak works on the 2019+ models with the new brake system? I actually found it somewhat useful in some deeper snow driving the other day. Feels way different then my previous truck. The traction control on the other hand is useless in snow

The basic operation of Stabilitrak is the same but the equipment is upgraded. The brake system was replaced by the Integrated Brake System that includes the Master Cylinder, Electric Power Booster and Brake System Control Module. The related sensors [Wheel Speed, Axial and Radial, Steering Pos, Brake pos etc] feed into the Control Module which results in faster reaction times.

Traction control is useful on slick surfaces, when reducing wheelslip is necessary to regain traction.

Traction control will get you stuck in deep material (snow/sand/mud) when it is necessary to have some wheelspin to pull thru.
