2016 Chevrolet suburban liftgate glass window won't release to open, when push the bottom hear the click coming from back fuse box relay at left side.

In November when I test drove the 2019 Yukon that I ended up buying, the tail gate's glass also would not open.  The lights would flash when using the keyfob's button but that was it.  Since it is still under warranty, it went in to the dealership's shop where the tech's report said that he found a pinched wire behind the fuse block at the rear of the vehicle in the passenger side quarter panel, by the jack.

Perhaps your issue is similar, or not.  No way to tell, but if it was pinched it definitely sounds like a manufacturing defect.  How else could it become pinched after the fact?
