2020 RST Center Console Seperating

Anyone notice the center console separating? I have the full console and if you look on the sides, it looks like it is coming apart at the seams. Doesn't seem like too big of a deal but wondering if anyone else has noticed it.

Got a pic? Sounds like typical GM fit and finish, but can’t really say my console is falling apart.

I wouldn't say mine is coming apart, but the seam is not even.  Poor fit and finish for sure.

Perfect fit and finish, tight seams (can't even slip a piece of paper in seam), appliques mounted straight and match door inserts. "1" Ft. Wayne production.

Ill post a pic of mine. Foghorn, your probably seeing the same thing I am. Its not critical and barely noticeable. However, I just got the truck so I see all these little things as I look over the truck.

Side note: I’m way more bothered by the fit of these stupid vent pieces by the pillars; stares me right in the face every day.

 

These are the kind of things that get GM killed in the automotive press.

Typical gm fit, plastic can have different thicknesses in molding process,

If you follow the seam up to the console lid, that is where mine looks like it is separating. Like I said, not a huge gap but noticeable. It wont actually fall apart unless something drastic happens.
