I think I will be installing a Rough Country 3.5" kit on my 2019 1500 Silverado this weekend (the wife has been on me to get it lifted and the final straw was a guy at working ragging me after another coworker parked his AT4 beside mine lol).

Has anyone documented an install of a Rough Country 3.5" lift on a new body 1500 truck? For anyone that has installed one of these kits, do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

After ~8 hrs, I got the RC lift on (working by myself). It wasn't a bad process though disassembly and reassembly of the struts almost made me throw in the towel (thanks goodness for pneumatic tools to tighten the compression tools). I ended up with 3.5" in the front and 2.5" in the rear which leveled the truck at 41.5" on all four corners... very happy with the outcome.

Now all I am debating is what size tire to go with (leaning towards the Nitto Ridge Grappler in 35x11.50) and whether to keep stock wheels or take the plunge and order a set of Fuel Rebels in bronze. If you have a similar setup, post some pics up of Nitto Ridge Grapplers with stock or aftermarket wheels with details of offset, etc.

Looks good! I have pretty much same height setup with 3.5 up front and 2.5” on the rear. 275/60 Ridge Grapplers and 20x10-24 Method 605. 1/4” spacers wouldn’t clear, I used 1.5” adapters.

Truck looks great man, 295/60 would be a good tire size too.  That's what I ran on my 17' for a while with a 3.5" lift.

Thanks, that’s the size my dealer told me he had put on a few trucks he lifted at his dealership.

Finally pulled the trigger on a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires today. I went with 35x11.50-R20 on factory wheels (no spacers) and they fit with no scrubbing and clear upper control arms. I’ll have some pictures as soon as the weather in N.C. cooperates. Very pleased with this choice!

your level looks good.  I went a  little higher 6" RC with the 35x12.5 Nitto's.  Your gonna like the final outcome!  Good luck with it

The final product... not the best picture but at least it's clean!

How much clearance do you have on the upper control arms?

About 1/4”.... Close but not much less than factory.
